hacking my 2ds was the best thing ever <3 i finally got to play majoras mask and ocarina of time. i actually rommed it on my first laptop back in year 8 (2020) but never got passed the water temple and also i was playing on a keyboard 0_o idek how i got that far.
i love majoras mask, i think youtube videos i lived vicariously through to experience it; were my first exposure to unsettling media - a niche that I believe fully shapes who I am today. unsettling media is everything to me. I now even own the manga! Himekawa Akira"'"s art is so gorgeous. i never fi ished twilight princess (game or manga) but those aesthetics will never leave my mind. '"subliminal messaging"' and covert advertising are oft dystopian concepts, but I think its beautiful how media can so pungently affect who we are, disproportionate to our intentional and/or faithful consumption of it. Kinda like how even if you (human) dont fully understand me or my (anyone) language , or make an effort to, I still hope we (all humans) feel connected. Isnt that beautiful? I always make very poetic ponderings and have a lot of motivation after a good shift or week at work. I love hospitality, I do feel fulfilled from it.
